I understand that sometimes, learning can be difficult - I haven’t always been a Science and Maths tutor - I was a student once too. I know from my own personal experience that it can be difficult to do well in school or college. With so many subjects to focus on and so much pressure to perform at the highest level, it’s no wonder that some students feel overloaded. I know this from my own personal experience and it’s a story that I see echoed so much with so many students.
You can see from the “About Me” section, that initially, I struggled at school but I now know that this was through no fault of my own. It wasn’t until I met the right person, my tutor, who inspired me to release my full potential. Not only did he boost my confidence but also my grades. This instilled such a great love and value for Science, Maths and the attainment of knowledge within me that I went onto study Sciences and Maths up to Masters Level and then went on to train as a teacher to try to inspire others.
You may be feeling a little overwhelmed right now or in need of a little help to achieve top grades. Most students are very capable, but they just need that little extra guidance and support to get better grades. If this sounds like you, I can help. My job is to help students to achieve optimum results, whilst growing in confidence along the way. As a mentor, my tutoring will also guide you along your whole journey through school, which we all know, can sometimes prove to be a rocky one.
Over the years, I have also worked closely with students in the sixth form and their families and I fully understand how stressful university applications and the UCAS application process can be.
